Prior to joining M3’s portfolio of automotive clients, Holdcroft had maintained a longstanding partnership with their previous agency for over two decades. As a well-established automotive group with a network of new and used car dealerships across Stoke, Staffordshire, and Cheshire, Holdcroft represents 12 leading automotive brands, including Renault, MG, and Nissan. Transitioning from a trusted agency of 20 years posed a significant challenge in ensuring continuity, brand consistency, and fresh creative direction.
In September, M3 was appointed as Holdcroft’s creative agency on a 12-month retainer. A key focus was optimising email campaigns to drive engagement and sales. M3 developed targeted, high-performing email strategies, achieving exceptional open rates and customer responses. One standout campaign, an end-of-quarter sale push, successfully drove dealership footfall and customer interactions, reinforcing Holdcroft's market presence.
M3’s email campaigns achieved outstanding engagement rates, with open rates soaring as high as 65%. The end-of-quarter sale campaign resulted in 465 appointments booked over one weekend, with nearly 50% of those appointments converting into car sales. The seamless transition, strategic marketing approach, and strong creative execution have helped solidify Holdcroft's continued success in a competitive automotive market.
